I have been a teacher of art since my training at Swansea College & University, way back in time. For a while, I worked in Grammar Schools, but then became an independent ceramicist for many years.
In that role, I led hosts of tutored groups, in-service workshops,
and many full-week workshops for youngsters at the International Eisteddforrd in Llangollen.

However, I'd not taught 2-dimensional art for a long time, so asking for feedback from people who come to my workshops felt very worrying at first,
but there has been enormous support and praise from them.

An absolutely inspiring weekend. Challenging for me personally in some ways.
I really feel as if I've got the bug again - I haven't put my pencil down since I got home, and yet I hadn't touched it for months.

I've propped my work up all around my living room - I didn't realise that I had done so much, and I really got an awful lot out of it.

Very good weekend. I have never been to a workshop before, but I really enjoyed it.
It was nice to be able to have the social aspects to it as well - lovely lunches.

Very good and well organised. I learned a lot, and quickly.
Compared to other workshops I have been to, it was as good as any, and better than most.

I'd just like to say what a wonderful weekend I've had.
It was really exciting, and I have learned on awful lot.
I want to come to the next one - yes, I know it's a repeat, but I really think I would benefit from it.

Really excellent. Especially liked being challenged and made to "push forward". Would change nothing in the workshop. It was very well structured and designed for progress. Everyone was encouraged.

How many workshops do you go to where you go to the tutor's house for lunch. I thought it was quite lovely.
... many thanks to our lovely chef also.
... and the food was terrific.
... catering fantastic, but I think you don't charge enough.

A different style of tutoring ~ great!
More variety than other workshops I've done.

I've been on numerous workshops and teachers over the years, and every one has their own way of saying things and helping you to develop.
Now I'm onto Maggie's wavelength I could enjoy doing it again - can you put me down for the next one please.
She came again, and said "I still found it stimulating. Nothing could be changed: all great.".
