Drawing was a core skills for the whole of my life as a Ceramicist. But working full-time on commissions and on figurines and tiles did not leave me any time for painting.
Since I stopped my clay-work, becoming involved in painting has been one of my greatest pleasures and challenges. As ever, I never really like to sit still. And so I constantly work with different styles and subjects, and with different media.
My paintings continue to reflect my love for form and composition, and seek always to capture the essence of the subject, be it buildings, people, cats, or landscapes.
