... it gives me great pleasure to help people to develop their talent.

I run work-days in my studio for up to 2 or 3 people at a time. Participants focus on their individual needs, and spend time on developing their style & skills, in the medium they choose.

I give plenty of support & guidance during the day. Price is £60 for a very full day. Materials are not provided, but there's an endless supply of tea & coffee & biscuits.

My tutoring is fulfilling and challenging, friendly, and definitely ‘different’. I always have approached it in a very active, hands-on, and personal-support fashion. Across the years, feedback from sessions both both small and large has been supportive and appreciative, from students of all levels.

I trained to degree level as an Art Teacher, and was head of a grammar school Art Department before going independent. I have done many artist-in-residence projects, undertaken dozens of in-house training sessions for teachers, led numerous workshops, and acted as mentor and tutor to students of all ages and levels of experience.

For several years, I was artist-in-residence at the Llangollen Eistedffod.
